As Olympian defender Sead Kolasinac disputed the round of 16 of the Coupe de France against Rennes with his team on the lawn of the Vélodrome stadium, Friday evening, criminals seized the opportunity to rob his home. The method is far from new, to the point that the specialized services evoke a real “phenomenon”, which affected no less than 22 players last year in France (other cases have been reported abroad).
This time, the obviously well-informed commando went to Cassis, where the Olympian player resides, to break into his home and rob him.
But if they had the guarantee of not falling on the footballer, according to our colleagues from 20 minutes, the companion and the daughter of the latter were in the accommodation when the criminals burst in. The robbery, the harm of which is not known, would however have been committed without violence, nevertheless leaving the victims “traumatized”according to the comments reported by our colleagues.
In October 2021, also in Cassis, it is another Olympian, Valentin Rongier, who had suffered a burglary during a meeting. The gendarmerie was in charge of the investigation.
