In Senegal, two buses collide for a terrible toll: 40 dead and 87 injured

Three days of national mourning

In the process, President Macky Sall decreed a three-day national mourning from Monday when an interministerial council will be held to take firm measures on road safety and public passenger transport.

It should be noted that another major accident has bereaved the populations of East Africa: on Saturday evening, 21 people lost their lives in a bus accident in Uganda, on the border with Kenya, following a excessive speed.
