Free Mobile reaffirms its promise not to increase its prices for 4 years, an exception in France

Despite inflation, Free Mobile will not increase the price of its packages until 2027, unlike its rivals.

At a time when the inflationary context is pushing Orange, SFR and Bouygues Telecom to increase their subscribers’ bills, Free Mobile is an exception. On the occasion of its 10th anniversary in 2022, the operator had undertaken not to increase the prices of its mobile plans (€2 and €19.99) for the next 5 years, as it had done since its launch in 2012.

A year later, promise kept and Free reiterates its commitment not to change its prices. “We are the only operator to have decided not to change the price of our mobile plans. Despite the inflationary context and the heavy investments currently being made to deploy 5G in all territories, we kept our promise in 2022 and we are maintaining our commitment for the next 4 years. We thank our subscribers for their trust.” says today Thomas Reynaud, CEO of Iliad, parent company of Free.
