Pablo Longoria has found the next recruit, since OM should soon welcome Serbian international Ivan Ilic. The Hellas Verona player could however stay a little longer in Italy.
In search of a midfielder to complete his team, Pablo Longoria has found his happiness. The specialized informant Fabrizio Romano announces that the final agreement is close for the arrival of Ivan Ilic. The Serbian midfielder is currently playing at Hellas Verona. At 21, he has already established himself as a sure bet in Serie A, after a stint with young people at Manchester City, where he had never been able to win afterwards. Ilic, trained of course at the Red Star in Belgrade, is a Serbian international and participated in the last World Cup.
OM explode Torino in terms of finance
He will therefore come to give even more volume to the game of OM, provided that the discussions are finalized in the right direction. Indeed, Fabrizio Romano reveals that if the agreement has been reached between the player and the Marseille team is found, it remains to be seen whether Ilic will arrive this month of January. Indeed, Verona would like to keep him on loan until the end of the season, before a final transfer in June. Note that the Serb is under contract until 2026 with Verona, and is valued at just over 10 million euros. The Torino were on the spot but according to the latest information from the Italian press, OM would have gone up to 18 million euros to win the bet. The Torino had offered him 15 million euros, bonus included. Same thing for the salary, with a salary offer 50% higher than that made by the Toro. On the other hand, the latest trend would be good to see OM leave Ilic in Italy for the next six months.
Personal terms are already agreed with OM.
