Aldi, Auchan, Carrefour, Leclerc: do not consume these reblochons recalled throughout France for the presence of staphylococci aureus

Be careful if you are preparing a tartiflette this week, your reblochon may contain staphylococci aureus.

This is the case with Reblochon from the Pochat & fils brand sold at Leclerc, Carrefour, Auchan and Kora. The batch concerned is 2253951 with a date of minimum durability set at 02/21/2023. This raw milk PDO cheese was sold from December 26 to January 14.

Reblochon from the Pays Gourmand brand, sold at Aldi is also affected. This time it is lot 225395124 with an expiry date set at 01/24/2023. This one was marketed from December 20 to January 13.

These cheeses must no longer be consumed and must be returned to the point of sale for a refund. The recall procedure ends on Sunday, January 29.

These Staphylococci aureus can cause “gastrointestinal disorders (mainly vomiting) appearing in the hours following ingestion and generally disappearing quickly”, indicates the site Reminder Cons.
