The child was declared dead on Wednesday by the authorities when he had been stuck for 3 days in a hole 35 meters deep.
A 10-year-old boy has been stuck for 3 days in a 35-meter-deep hole in Vietnam. Since then, it’s been a race against time to try to save him. Hundreds of rescuers take turns to rescue Thai Ly Hao Nam, which fell into a hollow concrete pillar just 25cm wide at a construction site in the south of the country. The young child was looking for scrap metal with friendsbefore disappearing into the hole.
An extensive rescue operation in vain. Local authorities said on Wednesday that the little boy is most likely dead. The team of doctors and forensic experts sent to the scene announced the sad news taking into consideration the place of the fall, the depth of the hole, the child’s injuries and the time needed to find him. Nevertheless, efforts continue to find his body.
